Why you aren’t as successful as you should be

Are you open to receive the success you are seeking? 

When we experience difficulty in our life, we also create a coping strategy to deal with that experience.

When it becomes chronic those coping strategies turn into patterns and anchor themselves in the body and psyche as defense structures.

This is effectively known as body armor.

It can affect things like our posture, our breathing, our metabolism, and our emotional states, as well as our perceptions, interpretations, and belief systems. 

Not only does it block us by creating stagnation and causes us to have a difficult time expressing energy, but it also can make us struggle to receive particular kind of energy, like love, new information, or even success (this usually shows up with the story “I’m not good enough). 

It’s so important to recognize the blocks we carry and bring acceptance to them while developing tools to unblock or upgrade them, so that we cannot only express ourselves, but also receive our desires, and return fullest potential. 

What creates a block?

Childhood traumas, cultural conditioning, limited, belief, systems, restrictive, or exhausting habits, physical, emotional injuries, or even just lack of attention can all contribute to a block.

Difficulties are part of life, but for each one we develop a coping strategy.

Some coping strategies are effective while others are ineffective or out of date.

If the situation persists that requires a coping strategy, then they can become chronic patterns, anchored in the body and psyche as defense structures.

Eventually that creates a holding pattern in our musculature they can also restrict the free flow of energy. This is what I refer to as body armor.

It’s so important to know that these coping mechanisms or holding patterns are there other way to protect you.

They aren’t bad. They are just ineffective and need upgrading.

This upgrade is what somatic coaching offers.

It's a way to identify your blocks (you’d be amazed at how sneaky they can be sometimes), but then also compassionately gives space for the part of ourselves that are just trying to protect us.

Then we create an upgraded method to honor the underlying need while also supporting you and moving forward in your life.
