The Female Body Doesn’t Need to be Hacked
The female body doesn’t need to be hacked.
This concept of the Infradian rhythm is excitedly beginning to gain traction in some small groups here and there but one of the things I’m consistently seeing is a way of syncing with your cycle in order to be more productive, to produce more, to “hack the body” and this is exactly the opposite of the true feminine nature.
The female body doesn’t need to be hacked, it needs to be honored for its complexity and exactly the way it works.
In a world of biohacking and shortcuts, the feminine asks us to slow down and relish in each and every juicy step.
These shortcuts to produce more, just further the belief that you are only worthy if you are producing.
So much so that if you read that and thought, "Well yeah, if I’m not producing then what am I giving to this world?” And that’s exactly my point.
The beauty of Women is how we contribute to this world with our presence, not our productivity.
It’s not the tasks we tick off a to-do list but the space we hold. If we are only focused on hacking the infradian rhythm with the intention of doing more, we will feel just as burnt out and frustrated.
It's time we go slower to go deeper. Not doing more for the sake of doing.
When was the last time you looked at your business and evaluated the tasks that were actually moving the needle for you? What items in your life feel super nourishing to your soul?
In the words of Rachel Bell, if you want to speed up - SLOW DOWN.
